Every customer is required to have an account to use certain services offered by ROBOTIS. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password. ROBOTIS reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion.
Information we collect
The following information is collected when creating an account to process orders and use services by ROBOTIS.
• Recipients Name, E-mail, Telephone, Mobile Number, Shipping Address, Order Details
We may also collect information from or about you from other sources, such as through your contact with us, including our customer support team, your results when you respond to a survey, your interactions with other customers using our services.
How we use your information
ROBOTIS knows that your personal information is very important, and we will not disclose, sell, trade, or rent your information without your prior consents, other than when compelled to do so by law such as in connections for lawsuit or legal proceeding. We use your information for the purposes below and will be deleted immediately after using them unless otherwise compromised.
• Order Processing: For all orders, ROBOTIS requires the following information stated below. Those who are shipping to a person other than to yourself, will be required to supply us with the same information for whom the order will be shipped to. The following information is shared only with the shipping company to fulfill your order(s) or sample(s).

• Integrated Site: Our shop and website has been integrated to offer the best service to our customers, and to avoid having to create several login information. Your login information is used to but not limited to place orders, make post, comments, inquiries, etc…
• Marketing: We do not frequently send out promotional emails, but do offer promotions from time to time. If you do not want to receive any marketing e-mail from us, please adjust your preference using your “My Account.”
*In case of important notices, we may send e-mails to you regardless of your settings.
• Internal Use: We may use your information for research, auditing, data and statistical analysis, etc... Analysis results will only be kept within ROBOTIS, and will not be shared with other parties.
All international orders are processed via DHL from KOREA (not USA) unless otherwise requested.
For customers in North and South America, please contact our US office to order via USA.

Please note that destination charges (import tax, customs duty, etc.) are not included in the shipping charges. We will not be able to calculate or pre-pay this fee for you.
* If there is a problem at your local customs and the customer decides to return the product to us,
and the problem is not related to us (i.e. it is due to the destination country's policy, etc.),
the customer must pay for the round trip expense in order to get the refund for the return.
* Some countries may have a different logistics company that handles the inland delivery.
ex. we’ll ship by DHL, but once it arrives in a certain country, a local courier may take over.
> Orders are normally processed within a 2 week time period. A lead time is applicable for certain items.
(Normally ships out within 3 working days when in stock).
> If multiple orders are placed on the same day, they will be shipped in the same package, unless requested to ship separately by order. If an error is discovered in your order that requires change or cancellation, please contact us immediately. We will not be held responsible for any costs that may arise due to your negligence.
> If an order is placed and the payment is not settled within 7 days, it will automatically be cancelled. If necessary, please re-place the order and make the payment in a timely manner.
> Please request for insurance to avoid lost or damaged shipments, which is 1% from the total invoice value. We will not be held responsible for lost or damaged shipments.
ROBOTIS accepts the following method of payment on its shop.
• Wire Transfer
For wire transfer, please note that the customer is responsible for the sender's AND receiver's bank fee so that ROBOTIS receives the full invoice value. Please contact our Customer Service to get details on our bank information.
* Should the sender fail to pay this fee, we may keep the delivery on hold until the fee is paid.
This is an online money transferring system that serves as an electronic alternative to checks and money orders. For more information, please refer to their website.
RETURN, REFUND, EXCHANGE POLICY
1. If you are not completely satisfied with our product, you may return it within 14 days from your shipment date for an exchange or refund only if the product is its original packaging in its up-opened and new condition with a 20% re-stocking fee. ROBOTIS will not be held responsible for any shipping charges or taxes that may arise. All returns, refunds, exchanges must go through the RMA process prior to being sent back to us. Please note that you will not be issued a refund until after reviews are processed.
2. Return packages must include a RMA number on the outside of the package, as well as a copy of your printed invoice. If you do not have an invoice, please send us your order number. We will not be responsible for lost packages due to the customer’s negligence to pay attention to these requirements.
3. All returns must be in their original package state. We are not responsible for damages to the print-head or circuitry as a result of improper handling, storage, or misuse. Products with removed protective tapes are regarded as being opened. ROBOTIS reserves the right to deny return, refund or exchange for opened and used products.
4. Requests for returns, refund, and exchange will be granted after the product has been received and reviewed by ROBOTIS. Please allow 14 working days to process your refund from the time it reached our warehouse. If you need an immediate replacement, we recommend that you place a new order and process the refund separately for the original order. We will not be responsible for any cancellation fees that may arise.
5. When returning items, please be sure to contact our Customer Service to confirm the procedures and return shipping address.
