dynamixel RX-64 lost
2009-08-21 19:21:00
I opened the dynamixel manager and was ale to control the servo motor.
when I set the baudrate to 1, then no problem, same with 2 and 3 (standard is 34). But when I switch to 4 the dynamixel is lost and I cannot find it back and the Dynamixel Manager says "There is no connected dynamixel"....
how can I reconnect the servo motor ( I lost now three servomotors)

Dear Bram VDB, If you have a CM-5 or CM-2+, please use the MANAGE MODE in the Robot Terminal to use the search function to find your dynamixel. If you only have have the USB2Dynamixel, please use the FULL SEARCH. If this does not work, please contact the distributor whom your RX-64 was purchased from. ROBOTIS

I only have USB2Dynamixel and performed already full search, cannot find the servo motors. In my own program I changed the baudrate number to number 4, but it can also not find it (while program works normally). What is the underlying problem? Why number 4 gives this problem? are there other numbers that we cannot use? I lost already 3 servomotors without reason. I hope the problem is solved quickly over the distributor.
