I am looking into the X series motors, and am wondering how fast/accurately they can report their conditions.
How accurately can the servo report its position while moving?
I would like to be able to constantly check the position of the servo with a computer while it's moving.
I see that it has 4096 steps, but can it report this accurately while turning?
Also, how accurate is the torque control? To what percentage of the stall torque can it accurately report?
How quickly can a computer check these measurements while the servo is moving?
The speed of getting the Present Position during motion depends on the communication environment and the delay in the system configuration.
Normally 8ms~16ms control time is used for various applications.
The unit of Present Current is 2.69mA but using Dynamixel as a Torque measuring tool is not recommended.
For the best performance and lifetime, we recommend to use below 20% of the stall torque.
