We try to upgrade the firmware for the MX-106 from protocol 1.0 to 2.0 but unsuccessful. Can you provide the correct procedure for that? Thanks.

We try the method mentioned and also try the recovery as well. But the update failed. Any other ways to perform the upgrade? Do we need to send back the MX-106 for the update? Thanks.

What interface did you use? U2D2 or LN-101 or OpenCM9.04?
Was the MX-106 with Protocol 1.0 detected and properly operated in Dynamixel Wizard?
We are using robotis usb2dynamixel
The servo was operated properly in dynamixel wizard, we can control and see good feedback from the wizard. However, it cannot do any firmware update (current version:36) and once we connect it with the CM700, it cannot be detected and affect other dynamixels. It also makes other dynamixels cannot be detected by CM700. Once we detach that 106, everything works fine again.
