Can I use a Beaglebone Blue to control and drive a DYNAMIXEL?

I want to control and drive a 3dof manipulator which consists of 3 DYNAMIXELs.

1 - Can I use a single SBC (Beaglebone Blue) for controlling all 3 motors? Or do I *need* things like openCM 9.04?
2 - I guess I should use Dynamixel SDK inside the OS of my SBC to send control command packets?
3 - Which type of motor do you recommend? Since ROBOTIS's own "open manipulator" uses XM430-W350, I thought it would be a good choice. Or should I opt for more powerful ones like MX-107?

From the official site, it seems like the Beaglebone Blue does natively not support DYNAMIXEL as it does not provide neither TTL or RS-485.

"Easy connect JST interfaces for adding additional buses and peripherals including: GPS, DSM2 radio, UARTs, SPI, I2C, 1.8V analog, 3.3V GPIOs"

However, since the board comes with USB port, you can connect U2D2(USB - DYNAMIXEL interface converter) in order to communicate to DYNAMIXEL.

Thank you.
