Bioloid GP - no movement

I have problems with the Bioloid GP.

When I connect the arms and the legs to the controller, it is impossible to command the robot with the RC-100 or with RoboPlus Motion.
When I connect only the arms, it is possible to move them with the RC-100 (2+L or 4+R).
When I connect only the legs, they don't move.

I did a recovery for every motor thanks to DynamixelWizard2, and I updated the firmware version of the controller thanks to RoboPlus Manager.

The ID of each motor is correctly set, as well as the baud rate. The firmware version of the CM-530 controller is 1.1986. The controller is powered with the 12V/5A alimentation.

What can I do ?

Thank you for your patience.

The rechargeable battery naturally degrades its capacity over the time and use, so please check your battery status first.

In order to disable the voltage warning alarm from the CM-530 controller, you can add below instruction in the beginning of the Task code.

The address 160 is assigned to the low voltage warning, and you can write 1 byte data "0" to disable to alarm.

Thank you.

When powering the robot, do you see the LED blink once for all DYNAMIXEL?

If you are running with battery, please try with 12V SMPS as battery may have low voltage level.

Please check if you can see all 18 DYNAMIXEL from the Roboplus Manager.

Also, check if you can control each joint by changing Goal Position in the Roboplus Manager.

Thank you.

Thank you for your answer.

Three AX-18 motors on the legs had their LED which stayed red.

I replaced those motors and now it seems like everything work fine.

However, when I use the robot with the battery fully loaded, I can sometime hear the sound which indicate that the level of the battery is low.

Is there a solution to switch off this sound ?

Thank you for your support.

Thank you for your answer, the sound disappears !

I noted that this sound appeared only when I powered on the robot and didn't use it for a while. Just by curiosity, was this sound an intentional warning to avoid a discharge of the battery when the robot is not used ?

Kind regards

Yes, it is an alarm to prevent over discharge the Lithium Polymer battery.
Please be aware of over discharging as it will damage the battery cell and cannot be fixed.
Thank you.
