You can still use DYNAMIXEL Wizard 2.0 to use DYNAMIXEL Protocol 2.0 for your MX-64.

Use Firmware Recovery feature of Wizard 2.0, and you will be able to select MX-64(2.0) firmware during the process.

Please note that DYNAMIXEL Wizard 2.0 supports all DYNAMIXEL that are currently available in the market regardless of protocol version.

Thank you for your reply,

However, when I tried firmware recovery, Wizard 2.0 did not respond after I repowered the MX-64, and the next button remained gray, so firmware recovery was not possible.

I used the same method for firmware recovery on 2XL430-W250 and it was successful, so I want to know what the reason is.

Which USB-Serial Interface do you use?

For the best compatibility, it is recommended to use U2D2 and U2D2 Power Hub Board.

If MX-64 is not detected for the Firmware recovery, it may need to be repaired.

Try unplug and plug back the cable in during the firmware recovery instead of using power switch and see if this helps to resolve the problem.

If it doesn't, please request RMA for the product.
