I've never built a robot before, so I'd like to follow the Turtlebot 3(TB3) product.
The TB3 Burger and TB3 Waffle have detailed build instructions, but I want to build the TB3 Friends Conveyor.
I can' find detailed build instructions anywhere.
Please help me find them.
The eManual does not detail how to set up the wires, batteries...etc for the eight motors required nor is there a simulation example; yet there is a "teaser" video showing the TB3 Friends Conveyor moving around well.
Is it possible to get detailed instruction? If so, where?

Hi,
Unfortunately, we do not provide a separate assembly guide for TurtleBot3 Friends examples, but you can find a 3D modelings so that you can see how each component is connected.
The OpenCR is the main controller for TurtleBot3 Friends examples, and the Conveyor example does not run on ROS.
The OpenCR firmware is provided as a Arduino example after setting up the OpenCR board from your Arduino IDE.
Then the example can be found from below location of Arduino IDE.
Examples → turtlebot3 → turtlebot3_friends → turtlebot3_conveyor
The Conveyor example uses a bluetooth remote controller set and the battery included in TurtleBot3 Waffle Pi package.
Since TurtleBot3 comes with 2 DYNAMIXEL, in order to make this example, you need total of 8 DYNAMIXEL and 3D printed parts shown below.

Thank you.

@wilson
Do you know of anyone or any organization that does provide a separate assembly guide for TurtleBot3 Friends examples?
Is anyone in your organization willing to create such a guide for a fee? Who can I find that knows how to do this? Any recommendations?
The main problem is the wiring and batteries and having it work with ROS.
It seems really odd that the TurtleBot3 Friends examples are being shown in the eManual without any guidance for how to build them.

Hi,
Please understand that the Friends examples are not official product but only shows how to customize the platform.
The connection of OpenCR, battery and DYNAMIXEL are very similar to that of TurtleBot3 official platforms.
However, porting it to ROS requires some engineering effort.
Could you give us more information about your organization / company and the purpose of building the Conveyor platform?
Based on your provided information and expected quantity to build, we might consider creating more contents about your interested platform.
You can contact at support@robotis.com and please include a link to this thread.
Thank you.
