Hi, I've just acquired a Dynamixel XM430-W350-T servo, and after a couple days working with it I realized that the current readings from the servo (read using Wizard 2.0) are off in comparison to the power supply readings. I have double checked it with a multimeter and the values from the servo are about twice the values from the power supply and multimeter.
I was wondering if there some adjustments or settings I should change to adjust the readings or the servo came with malfunction and there is no way to fix the issue?
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
The current readings from the DYNAMIXEL control table is different from the current supplied from the external power supply.
DYNAMIXEL reads the actual current flows on the coil of the core motor, while your power supply reads the current consumed in the entire module.
Thank you.

I am aware of that. Correct me if I am wrong, but the readings from the power supply and multimeter should be higher than the one from the DYNAMIXEL and not the other way around. Also, the readings are very off. about double the ones from the power supply.
Again, the current read from the current sensor IC in DYNAMIXEL is the actual reading of the current flow on the coil of the core motor.
This DYNAMIXEL current may have some discrepancy from the supplied current due to many reasons such as induced current, regenerated current, etc.
