Hi,
I'm not quite sure what you mean by the damping, but DYNAMIXEL does not have any damping hardware in it.
Depending on the configuration, you may replicate damping as shown in the video below.

thanks for your reply. what I wonder is, even the Mx-64 is torque off, (Mx-64 is conneced with a plastic link maybe 0.2g, and keep horizontal level ), Mx-64 will not rotate although with the gravity from the link. I guess there a some nature damping inside of Mx-64. This is what I am looking for.
The gear ratio of the MX-64 is 200:1 and it is high enough to resist from some load.
