AX-12 Probs No Data[at Broadcast ID 0xFE] LEN:000(0x00)

I RESET my AX-12s in the robot terminal they were connected to the CM5 when I issued the RESET command now I can't access them. I have tried attaching them to the CM-5 one at a time and setting the ID in the terminal using the command ID.

I get the following responses:
Scan: 0 dynamixels found
Dump: No Data(Check ID, Operating Mode, Baud Rate)
ID #: No Data[at Broadcast ID 0xFE] LEN:000(0x00)

I have tried many cables and different sockets on my CM5. I have tried to install the AX-12 firmware however if the CM5 doesn't even recognise the AX-12 then I doubt the firmware will be installed correctlly.

Can I fix this or do I need to return them?

Dear Rob,Your AX-12+’s baud rate and ID may have changed during the process of your RESET. Please connect the dynamixels one at a time and use the SEARCH command to set the correct ID in accordance to the stickers attached to the dynamixels.One thing you muct be careful is if you connect more than one dynamixel when assigning the ID, it will change the ID of all the attached dynamixels as well. Thus, it is best to do this one at a time.Please let me know if you have any questions.ROBOTIS

Hi,Thank you for getting back to me I am still not able to set the baud rate or ID of the dynamixels. I have attached a screen shot of the robot terminal could you have a look and let me know what I am doing wrong.Thanks again,Rob

Hi, Rob.In the screen shot attached, it says" Found! BAUD_REG:000, ID:004"I believe the baud rate had been set to 2Mbps.Try setting as "baud 0" and then reset again to "baud 1"Please let me know how things work out.ROBOTIS
